JamesK is the founder member of Reject Industries. He has been dj'ing since the late 90's and covered styles from Breaks to Progressive to Drum 'n' Bass, Funky, Deep and Tech House. These days his sets meander through layers of classic Hip-Hop, Funk, Latin-Breaks, Deep and Tech house, rounding off with the toughest Electro House there is. He has been heavily influenced by the DiY and Smokescreen sound systems and it always shows. With an almost unhealthy obssesion for deep and bubbly funk he often likes to keep it low and chuggy with rumbling basslines, rhodes keys and dubbed vocals. Cheap thrills it aint, this is seriously bouncy, underground house with brass knobs on!

James started out doing a student gig in the centre of Coventry with Steve-E bringing the underground world of deep and tech house to the masses every friday and saturday night for two years. At the end of each year was the end of term party, a three day event involving a stage and 5k rig, a barbeque and 2000 people getting their rocks off in the sunshine each day. With such a success under his belt James moved to Manchester and started the first few Reject Industries nights while travelling to London each month for Rob White's Relief nights in Camden, Spitalfields, Covent Garden and Farringdon.

A partnership with Alicante's Sol Tribal - resident in Manchester's Zumbar has led to regular Dj spots for James all over the City as well as opportunities like 'Nonsense Concept' - a 30 hour Fabric after party in Whitechapel, London.

Reject Industries has gone international with the addition of the Mexican side of the business, this has enabled James to Dj at Mexico's biggest club - The Box taking the UK deep tech sound to yet another fresh audience as well as VIP events downtown and networking with local DJ's and Promoters. Reject Industries also expanded into Portugal and Spain.
